In plain language
- SINAI is built to be usable by people with visual, motor, cognitive, or hearing disabilities.
- We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA + Israeli Standard 5568 conformance.
- If something doesn't work for you, email accessibility@sinaicinema.com — we respond within 7 business days.
- Captions in 36 languages are available on every published film as a baseline accessibility feature, not an upgrade.
SINAI Productions, an Israeli sole proprietorship owned by Liran Dandekar ("SINAI"), is committed to making sinaicinema.com (the "Service") accessible to people with disabilities. This statement is published under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations 5773-2013.

Conformance target
SINAI targets:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as published by the W3C.
- Israeli Standard 5568 — the Israeli adoption of WCAG 2.0 Level AA, mandatory for service providers under the Equal Rights Regulations 5773-2013.
- EN 301 549 — the European accessibility standard, applied where SINAI serves EU users.
Conformance is not 100% — every web platform has gaps, and SINAI is a small operation. We make our best effort and we publish what we know we're still working on (see "Known limitations" below).
Accessibility features today
- 36-language captions on every published film, auto-generated and translated; creators can correct them.
- RTL support for Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, with full UI mirroring.
- Keyboard navigation across primary navigation, project pages, player controls, and forms.
- Screen-reader semantic HTML with ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and live regions for asynchronous status changes.
- Sufficient color contrast on body text (≥ 4.5:1) and interactive elements (≥ 3:1) in the default dark theme.
- Resize without breakage at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling on standard viewports.
- Reduced-motion respect — auto-playing trailers honor the `prefers-reduced-motion` media query.
- No flashing content above the WCAG seizure threshold.
Known limitations
- Some AI-generated captions in low-resource languages may be inaccurate; creators are encouraged to review and correct.
- The video player does not yet expose programmatic audio-description tracks; we are evaluating Cloudflare Stream's upcoming audio-track API.
- Touch-target size on a few sub-menu items is at the WCAG minimum (44×44 px) rather than the AAA recommendation.
- Some long-form legal documents (this one included) are long-scroll layouts without a sticky in-page navigation.
How to report an accessibility issue
Email accessibility@sinaicinema.com with:
- The page where you encountered the issue (URL).
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened versus what you expected.
- The assistive technology you use (screen reader, voice control, switch, etc.) and its version, if relevant.
- Your preferred contact method for follow-up.
We acknowledge within 7 business days and propose a remediation timeline based on severity. Critical issues (someone cannot complete a basic task) are prioritized over polish items.
